How to prevent Dance Injuries?

Common ballet dance injuries include injuries to the leg, spine and arm.

A few things to be aware of when it comes to dance injuries for growing dancers is overuse and poor nutrition. Bone strength development may be compromised during the adolescent growth period, particularly for ballerinas because their careers tend to begin at a very young age.

 

TIPS:

+ Eat right

+ Leave plenty of time for rest and recovery

+ Listen to the feet
